today I made these hearts out of kiddy beads to decorate my boring lamp… I feel like making the apartment more cosy, since we spend more and more time indoors (it gets colder and darker outside by the minute!)

my messy life

wow, I have been one lazy blogger lately! And one lazy painter… (hmm)! I am very busy  (too busy) at work, and on top of that the winter darkness and wet coldness is creeping in on me… soooo tired. I am seriously thinking of ways to live a warmer, simpler life… Any ideas?

Finding time to pair up some of my paintings around the flat, but I still have a pile leaning up against the wall in the bedroom; I need a workshop! I am starting to paint new paintings next week (ordered lots of new canvases; can’t wait…)

The weekend was full of painting and laughing and dancing.

Now it is monday morning, and the apartment is quiet. I am alone and getting started with work – and I am feeling a little tired and a bit sentimental (why do weekends fly by so fast at the moment?)

wallpaper project

This weekend we have had a bit of a ‘handyman project’ going on; very unlike us! We’ve put up wallpaper on one o f the walls in the living room… it takes a bit of getting used to, but I love change – and I love the pattern.
